when i use 2 mdots (slave-master) or 2 xdots in peer to peer everything goes well.
But if i use 1 xdot (slave) and 1 mdot (master) in peer to peer, the master cant see the slave. Why?? any idea??

Network address, Network join mode, network session key, data session key, transmit frequency, transmit data rate are same for both of them.

    thx for your response!!

    Martin,

What version of firmware are you using on both devices? Does it help if you default config on both devices and reconfigure both? I’m assuming they’re both 915 or both 868 devices?

    Cheers,

    Mike

XDot samples may have the wrong crystal installed.
Try to set the P2P frequency on the xDot to 25 KHz higher than set on mDot and see if communication is working.

    Firmware du xdot: 2.0.14
    Firmware du mdot: Master-1.0

TxF is 915,500,000 for both of them. At 915,525,000 for the xdot, it does not work

    Martin,

I don’t believe “Master-1.0” is a valid FW version on the mDot. You can get the FW versions by issuing ATI on both devices.

Can you download the latest mDot and xDot AT firmware from multitech.net and try again. Please follow these steps after flashing both devices with new firmware:

    AT&F
    AT&W
    ATZ

Then reconfigure both devices and try again.

    Cheers,

    Mike

    Hi M.Fiore,
now i downloaded your mdot firmware and it shows me
    Firmware: 2.0.16-mbed127
I did at&f, at&w and atz and i reconfigured my mdot’s device and it works 🙂
    The mdot sees the xdot.

What do i need to do about my program in order to get the same thing?? Change the libmdot? change the mbeb? Change the command terminal?

    thx
