multiple LoRa gateways

Hello,
as of now, I have one Multitech Conduit gateway and I’m using it as a packet forwarder for my LoRa nodes. With time I’ll want to expand my network with two (or more) gateways that will forward data to my server.
My question is, how does this work? If there are two gateways in range, will there be two same received messages on the server? Or will the node select gateway with better signal strength?

The node will not select a gateway, if both hear it both will forward it. You would have to detect duplicates on your network server.
