Quick question about joining

my mDot joins very fast when using Multitech Network Server embedded in the Conduit. When I use another Network Server, it also joins, but only when reaching this combination:

[WARNING] JoinDatarate setting channel group to 1 125k: 00d6 500k: 00cb

When “channel group” == 1, it joins. All the rest, as I show next, result in an error:

This repeats for other combinations, too:

[INFO] Send join request RxDelay: 5 Rx1Offset: 0 Rx2Freq: 923300000 Rx2Dr: 8

The same for:
[WARNING] JoinDatarate setting channel group to 5 125k: 0090 500k: 0008
[WARNING] JoinDatarate setting channel group to 2 125k: 0090 500k: 000a
[WARNING] JoinDatarate setting channel group to 3 125k: 0094 500k: 000a
[WARNING] JoinDatarate setting channel group to 8 125k: 0094 500k: 008a
[WARNING] JoinDatarate setting channel group to 2 125k: 0096 500k: 008a
[WARNING] JoinDatarate setting channel group to 7 125k: 0096 500k: 00ca
[WARNING] JoinDatarate setting channel group to 7 125k: 00d6 500k: 00ca
All these result in error.

So my question is twofold is twofold:
1) can such “JoinDataRate” be explicitly set in the code so my node joins faster?
2) why with Multitech’s Network Server my node joins so fast?
