    Hello,

I’m using the Web-API on FaxFinder FF230 with FW 2.2.9.2. I can send fax without problems as long as there are only ASCII-characters in e. g. sender name, organization and so on.

But when the XML-file (its saved as UTF-8) contains e. g. a “ü” like in Müller, the Web-API returns the status 400.

I can replace the umlauts by html entities like ü which leeds to a successfull sent fax but in the send receipt there is also the html entity show what is hard to read for normal users.

Any idea how I pass “special” characters (äüößéè and so on) to the Web-API so that the receipt also shows the correct character?

    With best regards

    Hello,

I’m sorry but the FaxFinder currently supports ASCII-characters only.

I will add you comments to our feature request to support german umlauts ( and other non ASCII characters).

    Regards,
