    I’m unable to fax certain PDFs. Did some research and appears to be related to the compression scheme. We just implemented a FF240-IP along with a new PBX (Avaya IP Office). Is there a patch, upgrade, etc? I’m currently on Firmware 3.3.8 . We need this ASAP…

    I am having the same problem sending word documents. Is there a fix?

    BTW…I’m at 3.3.8.6

    If you open up a case in our support portal you can attach an example file and we can have a look at it to see if we can duplicate the problem. https://support.multitech.com

    There is a known issue sending when using Acrobat 11, but using the latest 3.1.0 client should fix that provided you have an FFx30/x40 model. This known issue involves text getting changed to garbage characters when the fax goes out. Getting a preprocessing error may a be different issue such as not being able to convert a certain font to the faxable TIFF format.
