Hi not sure lux is 3 bytes all my tests indoor & outdoor
Payload in bytes – EVB parser
0efffd0f08062231 050022 0b0190 – indoor lux: 8.16
0e06ff0e08062221 051a08 0b0189 – outdoor lux: 1599.36
Lawrence,
Does the screen on the dotbox display values in that same range?
Cheers,
Mike
Yep reading 1x also I tested at “lux”:15728.4 still 2 bytes running v2.0.0 of box/evb
payload 0e0f03fe 0805f9ef 05ffff 0b0168
Hi Lawrence,
The values you included in your first post appear reasonable. The lux value is two bytes not three. I’ll have to track down why the documentation indicates 3 bytes.
We configure the light sensor for 16 bits and a range up to 16000 or 0x3e80. I don’t know what would cause the ffff value. Can you tell me more about when or how the ffff occurs for you?
Kind regards,
Leon
