I’m new to this and I have been warned by a Verizon rep that I am going to be Black Listed very quickly. We are a Medical University and we have authorizations to send text messages to the recipients and I was wondering what the general feeling is about sending messages. Has anyone run into the problem of being blacklisted by a carrier? Can a few of you folks tell me how many messages you are sending?
Thanks
I have not heard of being blacklisted for sending messages before. Did they say why they were thinking of blacklisting you?
When testing firmware, we commonly send over a 1,000 messages per channel a day.
I think that it was just smoke from the Verizon sales person but I wanted to check a few sources. Blacklisting in the email world is where x amount of people complain. Is it like that in the text world? The reason I ask is that our texting is only going to be to people who opt-in so I don’t believe we will be crossing any lines. Thanks for your information.
