    Hello,
    I am new to MTC-MVW1-B03(Verizon) and also new to Linux. I have been trying to connect this modem to verizon network. I tried using Multitech Connection manager. It says connected and strength is 75% but still can not ping 4.2.2.1 or google.com. As well Most important is I have to connect this modem using Linux on Beagle bone black. I talked to some one and he guided to use pppd connection. But it hangs out and also having same issue that it does not ping to google.com

    I am looking an urgent help in this issue.

    Any help or advise is appreciated.

    For starters we can help you verify the modem is functioning properly.
