    Good day –

I noticed the public IP address of our gateway changed.

It transitioned from our local wired network (public IP address of the university) to the another IP address, which I’m guessing is the cellular network.

My question is: what are the criteria for switching between Ethernet and cellular? I see traffic for both eth0 and ppp0 shown on DeviceHQ for the same time period.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi William

In the ConduitAEP under “Setup” then “WAN” if you have multiple WAN’s
configured you set priority for a primary WAN and a secondary WAN to
failover to. An ICMP (10 count ping) failure will trigger a WAN failover.

Awesome, Steve, that’s what I wanted to know, thanks!

    And have a great weekend.
