    Thanks Bryan.

udev put me on the right track.

Also, it seems that my USB devices that I’m using show up in /dev/serial/by-id directory when I plug them in which should be what I will work with.

I’m plugging in a couple of USB devices to the OMG module.

The USB driver ftdi_sio is loaded fine but the device attached varies. For example, one time it may be /dev/ttyUSB2 and another time it may be /dev/ttyUSB3. This creates a problem for a application since I have to manually use dmsg figure out which device is used.

    Any suggestions?

It works! Thanks Bryan for the excellent help.

I just used the standard distribution that you ship so I did not have to worry about bitbaking therefore I did not have to perform steps 1 and 2.

    Thanks,

    James

Are there any step-by-step instructions for enabling php on the CPD using the lighthttp web server? Just wanted to make sure that I get all of the steps right. Thanks.

Thanks, I have the new MTCDP-H4 (HSPA) and was able to enter AT commands using microcom. I did notice though AT+CSQ and ATI returned the values that I was expecting but was not able to get other commnads such as AT!GSTATUS? and AT!GSMINFO? to return anything but OK. Any idea why?
