    We’re a bit short on xDot pins, so I wonder if we could reassign PA3 (UART2_RX, Debug UART) as a GPIO? We do need PA2/UART2_TX for SWO for tracing, so I think the RX channel has no use anymore.

    In the MXTDOT Developer Guide (page 19), it appears as if no GPIO is available.

    Sorry for the confusion – the USBTX/RX pins are regular GPIOs. I think using the RX pin as a GPIO should be fine.

    I will open a doc ticket as well so the developer guide is made more clear.
