How to change the Dotbox frequency to AU band

Got a dotbox with US frequency band. How to refresh the settings to a AU band?

Hello Colin,

I asked a similar question a few weeks ago, about using the US915 mDot with the EU868 band. I my case, I needed to flash the mDot with the appropriate firmware: I couldn’t simply issue at+freq=EU868 (the same appears to be true for at+freq=AU915).

I didn’t actually try it (i.e. change US to AU), but my impression is that you need to flash your mDot with one of the firmware versions that can be found here.

We are still working on a 3.x DOT BOX release.

The 2.0.x DOT BOX firmware would need the unit reconfigured.

Contact support.multitech.com to get the unit reconfigured for AU.

Thanks. It might be a different case as it is as stated in the thead below the DOT BOX. Will follow instruction from Multitech to raise a support ticket. I think they have a plan to release fireware for different regions. Just need to wait a bit.
