Hi,
I received my MTCAP today and was following the quick start guide. I powered it up and connected to my computer with the LAN cable. I statically gave an IP address in my laptop. Now i can ping to the MTCAP but when i try to ssh using the default credentials root/root somehow i cannot get in. It asks me for the password again and again. I tried resetting it to the factory defaults as well but that also does not work.
Any help is deeply appreciated.
If you received an MTCAP with 3.3.6, the password was mistakenly set wrong. Here is the readme with the password at the end:

Thanks John,
Now it works. Is there a new version of the firmware? Is a firmware upgrade required?
Can i somehow install the admin GUI similar to the conduit? Earlier with the MTCDT we used Node-Red. Can i install Node-red and work with it?
The latest mLinux firmware for MTCAP is 3.3.9. http://www.multitech.net/developer/downloads/
You will find Node Red under pre-built packages.

If you need an admin GUI, you will need to install AEP instead. If you have flashed mLinux over AEP, you will need to contact customer support.
