Can anyone tell me what the error RTC error: RTC initialization failed means and how to get rid of it. This occurs after flashing new firmware to a brand new mDot. and has happened on at least 2 mDots now.
This happens with the latest libmDot and previous release.

    Thanks.

    Hi Andrew,

According to our developers, the “RTC initialization failed” message has only been seen after flashing new firmware. A hard reset by removing power from the device has allowed the RTC to be initialized properly.

I’ll try this again. I did have some mDots that had failed first time, swapped for new one, then put them back so they had been powered off.

Let me retry and get back to you.

    Thanks

At what voltage are the mDots being powered?

mDots are powered by 3.6V LTC cell.

All seems to be working now.

    Thanks.
