RE: MTCDT-LAT1-246A Firmware 5.0.1-AEP
Good Day –
I’m trying to upgrade – or rather downgrade – from 5.0.1-AEP to either 1.7.4 or 1.6.4. I’ve tried numerous times, using both DeviceHQ and AEP->Administration->Firmware Upgrade. But I keep getting the same error message: ‘Firmware check failed. Invalid firmware update package.
Thank you for your time and support.
William
William,
Please open a support portal case on this. They will need to know your configuration among some other things. Have you hit submit after disabling signed firmware validation? As long as you’ve done that and saved and rebooted to disable signed firmware validation, there is something else going on.
Thank You,
Jeff
Thank you as always for your help, Jeff.
I had disabled signed firmware validation but hadn’t saved and restarted. That did the trick!
Thank you and have a great weekend,
William
