Hello, I am a newbie in the field. I ordered a MTSMC-G2-IP to use it through arduino. The cellular function is okey. But the GPS module I am having a hard time. I cannot make it work, the readings are zeros.
I think I need extra hardware, the connector is a UFL, I used an UFL to SMA cable and a SMA Antenna just like the WIFI devices use (linksys routers, PCI wireless, etc). In open sky I have not been able to receive any reading other than zeros. I cannot find in amazon or the internet any gps antenna with an UFL or SMA connector. The GPS Antenna I have only found are MCX conectors, including the Multitech Antenna. I also been looking for a MCX to SMA or UFL but no luck. Any ideas from the product design group or anyone? Thank you, any comments would help a lot.
Your model MTSMC-G2-IP does not include GPS. if you need GPS, you will need to order model MTSMC-G2-GP
