    Hello,
    The root user password is not “root” on MTCDP EV2 modems we just unpacked.
    Is there a new default root password?
    We can not enter in the console, it says “Access denied”…

    Hi Herraiz,

    These units have NPHASE firmware on it. Did you try to contact NPHASE ?

    We buy it on digikey… It was we are lost…
    Do you have a contact email in NPHASE?

    I don’t have NPHASE contact. You should contact DigiKey.

    What distributor you recomend then to get default multitech MTCDP?

    Hi Herraiz,

    Could you create a support case at http://www.multitech.com/support#gsc.tab=0. Click on ‘Support’ link to create a new case – so that I can attach some docs for how to load the Multitech Factory Image on it.
