    Hi,

We added two devices to the MTCAP-LEU1-868-001A using OTAA and everything was working fine. But then, we restarted the gateway and it started to drop all the packets from both devices.

    Log:

Upstream UDP backup this: 0 last: 0
    |FRAME-RX|Parsing 1 packets
    |CHECK-PKT|MIC Check Failed 0x00000003
    |CHECK-PKT|FCNT: 00000003 LAST-FCNT: 00000000 Duplicate: no
    |CHECK-MIC|ADDR: 00-00-0d-9f failed
    |DROP-PKT|Addr: 00:00:0d:9f Duplicate: no

If we reset our devices, they rejoin the network (OTAA) and everything works fine again. Is this the expected behavior? Devices must rejoin every time we restart the gateway?

To restart the gateway we unplugged the power cord.

    Thanks

    Hi Rafael

End node session information is saved in the MTCAP every hour.
If power is pulled from the device prior to the Conduit saving session information, it is lost.
If you were to first gracefully ‘Save & Restart’ or ‘restart device’ or ‘save changes’ from the Conduit GUI then session information is saved and will persist through pulling the power.
So for your scenario, that was expected behavior.
    Hope that helps.

    -Best Regards
