Just getting some stats from AEP and wondering why the LoRa pack forwarder was running and chewing some 24% cpu time
This diagram leads one to believe it’s not needed
What is it’s role given the AEP has the network server on it?
Thanks
Lawrence
Packet forwarder is used to communicate with the lora-card just like in public network. Except the UDP end-points are local.
+20% cpu time is the process polling the card for packet through the USB-SPI library.
New MTAC-LORA-H SPI cards with packet forwarder reduce to 2-6%
Jason thanks can I use the new MTAC-LORA-H SPI on an older conduit? Or do you have a specific new version?
Just need mLinux 3.3.x or greater for MTAC-LORA-H
Jason thanks for those wanting to know what version on mLinux their AEP is running this worked
cat /etc/issue
MultiTech Systems Application Execution Platform with mLinux GNU/Linux
mLinux 3.3.6 \n \l
