Hello,
I cannot seem to figure out what I may have done to this Conduit (MTCDT-L4N1-246A, firmware 5.3.0), but if I reset it to factory default and go through commissioning process through the web GUI I can successfully create a user/password to log into the web GUI, but when I log into the terminal with the same username/pass, it logs in but displays:
“No directory, logging in with HOME=/”
Then the shell prompt shows:
I have no name!@mtcdt:/$
I don’t even have permission to cd to the /home/ directory. It does appear that a home directory was created for the user (admin) I created though. Here are the permissions/owners of the home directory contents.
I have no name!@mtcdt:/$ sudo ls -la /home/
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 0 Aug 19 09:20 .
drwxrw-r– 15 root root 0 Aug 19 09:25 ..
drwxr-x— 2 admin admin 0 Aug 19 09:20 admin
drwx–S— 2 root root 0 Aug 19 09:17 root
Anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
Thanks!
Brett
