we upgraded to the new gateway and here is what I have from the home page on the gateway for the model and version of firmware.
mPower™ Edge Intelligence Conduit – Application Ennoblement Platform
MTCDT-L4N1-246A Firmware 5.1.6
In the older gateways and the firmware version of 1.7.4, we had managed to update the MTU by updating the ppp_setup file with desired MTU under /sbin folder, however this file is no longer present in the new firmware of the conduit. Can you please let us know the best way to set the PPP MTU, which can survive reboots and firmware updates with the new conduit firmware?
Thanks,
Ajay.
Any thoughts, we can’t use the default MTU of 1500, as most VPN connection requires lower MTU. so it would be great if you can suggest a mechanism to update the PPP MTU.
Thanks,
Ajay
