first of all here is the description of setup we use in our company.
– Multitech Conduitn AEP with GSM module (MTCDT-H5-210A) FW version 1.2.2
– Accessory Card 2 – MTAC-LORA-868
We want to use only GMS module to connect Conduit to the internet (WAN). FF2 SIM card is inserted, APN settings performed through Conduit GUI and after we start PPPD (ppp deamon) manually using ssh Counduint successfully connect to the internet and we can see “PPP Link is up” and Conduit CD LED turned on. Connection took approxiamtelly 5-10 minutes.
After a few hours (2-3h) CD LED is still on but connection was lost and “PPP Link is down”. We observe this problem during multiple Conduit runs (restart did not help).
Cellular signal is OK.
Could you give us some advice please.

Have you tried to enable the ICMP check and the data receive monitor on the Cellular configuration? Those two features help keep the PPP connection alive in a lot of situations where the Conduit loses PPP connectivity.
