    Hi,
Lets say that we want for a private LoRaWAN deployment to have 7 conduit units acting as a gateway and another/additional conduit unit to act as the LoRaWAN network server; I would assume that following the guidelines in http://www.multitech.net/developer/software/lora/conduit-mlinux-convert-to-basic-packet-forwarder/ this can be accomplished.
The question is regarding performance, would the “master” conduit acting as the LoRaWAN Network Server be able to support (CPU load) all the 7 conduit gateways ?
What would be the number of mDots that overall can be joined/reached in such a system ? assuming 3500 per mCard, would it be 24,500 ?
Does the new firmware of conduit supports installing two mCard modules and operate them simultaneously ? in such case would it double the capacity of mDot per conduit GW ? is there any documentation for that ?
Can the Multitech LoRaWAN Network server package be installed on a linux machine (not conduit) with more CPU power and resources to over come the above hurdles (if any) ?
Many questions hope to get some answers.
    BR,
    Arie

    Hello Arie

Did you manage to deploy (and answer your questions) your use case where there are several gateways acting as packet forwarders and one as network server, all in the same LAN ?

it’s sad you haven’t had any replies on >1year !

    Cheers

    Hi Veranith,
We were able to make the conduit act as a packet forwarder and get the messages received in NS.
We are now getting back into activity and this shall be evaluated again.
    Thanks,
    Arie
