    Hi

I am using the mDot firmware 2.0.16 but would want to use it in class B mode.
When I issued the AT+DC=B I get an error “class B is not yet supported”
I noticed in the AT command reference guide that the class B device is supported in version 2.0 or older. I guess in that case the firmware itself isn’t supporting class B.

When are we expecting the new firmware upgrade with class B support in it?

    Piyush,

It appears the AT command reference is not in order.

There is another note for AT+DC near the top of page 59.
Note: Currently only Class A and Class C are supported.

This is the correct information. The “version 2.0 or older” note should be set next to Class C.

Class B definition is not complete in LoRaWAN until 1.1.

    Appreciate the quick response Jason.

I confirmed the functionality of class C though. But I couldn’t understand the meaning of “Class B definition is not complete in LoRaWAN until 1.1”.
    Please confirm the below:

The class B isn’t supported in firmware v 2.0.16 Is this the correct statement?
If it is so, when do we expect the class B supported firmware? How soon can that be available?
Do you mean that the exact definition of class B isn’t even complete in the protocol itself?

    thanks,

Yes, I mean that the protocol definition of Class B is not complete.
We have no time-frame as to when this will happen.
