    I was wondering if there is any advantage of migrating to 5.3.0 AEP firmware version as opposed to 5.2.1? We are beginning to migrate our production conduits to 5.2.1. However since 5.3.0 was released, we are just wondering from a FOTA perspective does the 5.3.0 have any improvements/stability over 5.2.1 version?

    There is no functional difference in the FOTA processes in mPower 5.2.1 and 5.3.0. The only change was in the algorithm for generating the random Multicast Session keys.

    The majority of latest FOTA improvements are implemented in the Dot v4.0.0 firmware and tools.

    Thanks Jason for taking the time to respond. We will stay with the 5.2.1 version for now given the improvements are on the mDot 4.0 which we are already using currently.
