Hi all,
is it possible to upgrade node-red app embedded on the multitech conduit device?
thanks in advance!
Massimiliano
Massimiliano,
Do you mean upgrade Node-RED to a newer version? Which version of Conduit are you running, and what version of Node-RED does it have?
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
Model: MTCDT-H5-210A
MultiConnect Conduit version: 1.4.3
Node-Red Version: 0.11.1 (found on /opt/node-red/package.json file)
Massimiliano,
In early Q1 2018 we will be releasing AEP 1.5.0. Among other things, Node-RED has been upgraded to version 0.15.3 which is the last version that supports the AEP Conduit’s CPU architecture (instruction set).
Jeff
well great news!
In the meantime do you think it is possible to update it?
thanks for your support!

I updated node red to below.
node-red – 0.15.3-r0.0 – node-red version 0.15.3-r0 Node-RED
node-red-dbg – 0.15.3-r0.0 – node-red version 0.15.3-r0 – Debugging files Node-RED This package
node-red-dev – 0.15.3-r0.0 – node-red version 0.15.3-r0 – Development files Node-RED This package
I am running mlinux 3.3.13. the latest image. There is not reason you can not upgrade it on AEP since AEP is based on mlinux.

Any update on when AEP 1.5.0 and Node-RED 0.15.3 will be released?
We need the new Node-RED MQTT broker nodes that support certificates instead of username and password.
Thanks!
Bill
Node-RED 0.15.3 in AEP 1.4.14 available on the Downloads page.
That’s great news, Jason – will take a look.
Thank you!
Bill
