The following procedure<br \/>\nshows how to turn on RX Diversity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"stepexpand\"><span>Log onto MTCDT using the USB debug port or an Ethernet SSH session.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"stepexpand\"><span>At the command prompt, run the following two commands to verify that the H5<br \/>\nradio is responsive. You should see an \u201cOK\u201d response.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"p\">\n<pre class=\"brush:shell\">$ microcom \/dev\/modem_at0\r\nAT\r\n\r\nOK<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"stepexpand\"><span>Issue the following command to enable receive diversity:<\/span>\n<div class=\"p\">\n<pre class=\"brush:text\">AT#RXDIV=1<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"stepexpand\"><span>Issue the following command to confirm the setting. The first parameter<br \/>\nreturned should be 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"p\">\n<pre class=\"brush:text\">AT#RXDIV?<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"stepexpand\">Close the microcom utility by typing <code>[CTRL]-x<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"stepexpand\"><span>Attach cellular antenna to the AUX connector on the back of the MTCDT<br \/>\ndevice.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The MTCDT-H5 ships with RX Diversity turned off by default.
