To startup the MTAC-ETH card:<\/p>\n

    1. Install the MTAC-ETH in the back panel of your Conduit\u00ae<\/sup>. Refer to Installing an mCard Accessory Card<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. When you boot up the Conduit with the MTAC-ETH card inserted, an additional ethernet interface named either ‘eth1’ \u00a0or ‘eth2″ appears (depending on which port you used for the card, port 1 or 2 respectively).<\/li>\n
    3. By default, it is not configured. You can see it by running ‘ifconfig -a’.<\/li>\n
    4. To configure eth1, edit \/etc\/network\/interfaces and add the appropriate lines (see below).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

                      5. Save the file. Then,\u00a0reboot or run ‘ifup eth1’.<\/p>\n
