LoRa Demo<\/strong> Mode demonstrates typical device\u00a0usage. Sensor data is gathered and updated on the screen in real time. Sensor data\u00a0is sent to the gateway periodically.<\/p>\n

In Interval<\/strong> Mode, the device\u00a0periodically sends sensor data to the gateway based on a selected update time. The user can chose from the following intervals: 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes or\u00a030 minutes. The data is formatted according to the data packet format. Each press of the SW2<\/strong>\u00a0button cycles the interval to the next option.<\/p>\n

In Trigger<\/strong> Mode, the\u00a0device sends sensor data to the gateway when the user presses the SW2<\/strong> button. The data\u00a0is formatted according to the data packet format.<\/p>\n

Using LoRa Demo <\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Select LoRa Demo<\/strong>\u00a0from the Main Menu<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Choose from Sw2 <\/strong>for Interval <\/strong>or\u00a0 Sw1<\/strong>\u00a0 for Trigger. <\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. For Interval<\/strong>, the default update time\u00a0is 10 seconds. Press SW2<\/strong>\u00a0 for Interval<\/strong> to change the update time. For Trigger<\/strong>, press SW2<\/strong> to Send. <\/strong>Press SW1 <\/strong>to go Back <\/strong>to Interval\/Trigger <\/strong>screen.\n

    • \u00a0The screen displays the sensor data as follows:\n

      • accelerometer x, y, and z axes<\/li>\n
      • pressure<\/li>\n
      • temperature<\/li>\n
      • light<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Time-On-Air Restriction Issue for Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n

        The device may not always be able to send data to the gateway on each interval or\u00a0button press, depending on the time-on-air restrictions in different regions. This issue is more relevant for Europe\u00a0where the 868 MHz frequency band is used. If the device doesn’t have a free channel, the screen displays\u00a0a countdown in seconds till the next free channel is displayed on the screen. If the device is in Trigger<\/strong> Mode, it ignores SW2<\/strong> presses until\u00a0 channel is available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
