Wi-Fi Access Point – AEP

This feature is only available on certain products and models (not available with all devices).

To setup the device as a Wi-Fi access point for clients:

  1. Go to Wireless > Wi-Fi Access Point > Wireless Configuration.
  2. Under Wireless Configuration, check the Enabled box.
  3. Enter the Network Name (SSID) of the network.
  4. Select the Network Mode. Select from the drop-down:  B/G/N-Mixed, B/G-Mixed, B-Only and N-Only. Note: The channel or band can not be changed if Wi-Fi as WAN is enabled.
  5. Under Security Options, select the Mode from the drop-down including None, WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK or WPA/WPA2-PSK.
  6. The system provides default values for the Beacon Interval (100 ms), DTIM interval (1 frame), and RTS Threshhold (2347 bytes).
  7. Under Clients, see devices that join the wireless network. The table displays the Name, MAC Address, IP Address, and Signal.
  8. Click Submit.
  9. To save your changes, click Save and Restart.

NOTE: The AEP Conduit does not support Concurrent WiFi Mode (i.e. Concurrent Wi-Fi Access Point and Wi-Fi as WAN at 5G). The mLinux version does support this feature.
