We have set AT+WM=1 for interrupt wake up and have set AT+WP=6 for the wake up pin, However the Xdot appears to be waking up periodically as if its set to interval wakeup. This event is causing us to exceed our power usage.

We would like it to wake up only on interrupt. The xdot module is mounted on PC board…and we have verified OK response to commands.

We are saving configuration with AT&W

What could be the cause of these spurious wakeups?

    Thanks!

What version of firmware are you running?

AT+WM=1 will use the interrupt as the source to wake-up.

Do you use deepsleep AT+SLEEP or stop mode AT+SLEEP=1?

Both should wake only on the configured AT+WP setting.
    Is the WAKE pin floating?

We have tried AT+SLEEP 0 and 1. We have noted that in deep sleep the overall power and the frequency of the interval spikes decreases.

The WAKE pin is not floating … when processor sleeps power domain to ports should be maintained. Do you recommend a pullup or pulldown on the WAKE pin?
