    Hello,

I am facing the following problem. My Conduit doesn’t detect the SIM card, so i m not able to establish a PPP Connection. This is the same behavior if the SIM card is removed from the device altogether.

It is the same beahvior with 2 differents SIM cards (2 differents operators)

Using the Radio terminal of my conduit AEP and at commands, I got the following answers :

    Modem Model (ATI4):LE910-NAG
IMEI / Modem Serial Number (AT+CGSN): XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    Modem Firmware Version (AT+CGMR):  17.00.503
Modem Functionality Mode (AT+CFUN?): Mobile full functions with power saving disabled. (1)
Network Registration Status (AT+CGREG?): Not registered, but ME is currently searching a new operator to register to. (0,2)
Packet Service Type (AT#PSNT?): +CME ERROR: SIM failure
SIM Status (AT#QSS?): SIM NOT INSERTED. (0,0)
ICCID / SIM Card Number (AT#CCID): +CME ERROR: SIM failure
Network Operator Name (AT#SERVINFO): OPERATOR NAME
    Signal Strength (AT#SERVINFO):  (-60) dBm.
Mobile Country Code (AT+CIMI):    +CME ERROR: SIM failure
Mobile Network Code (AT+CIMI):    +CME ERROR: SIM failure
Mobile Subscriber Identification Number (AT+CIMI): +CME ERROR: SIM failure
Mobile Directory Number (AT+CNUM): +CME ERROR: SIM failure
PDP Context (AT+CGDCONT?):  +CME ERROR: SIM failure

As you can see “SIM Status (AT#QSS?): SIM NOT INSERTED. (0,0)”, and radio module can’t interogate SIM Cards Status/Infos.

SIM is well located, into the holder with the cut corner to the left and the SIM contacts facing towards the USB. I m using a Micro SIM.

I m thinking about HW Slot SIM Failure.

Could you please advice me how to get over these problems?

    Thanks.

    Jerome
