    Hi all,

One of our client is using proxy in intern and we had some issue with previous version of the firmware. So I’d like to test the new version before sending my new gateways. And thus, I’d like to set a http_proxy on my gateway AEP Conduit but I don’t know how.

I tried the standard linux command but it’s not working :
    – export http_proxy=http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:3218

    Any idea ?

    Caroline.

    Caroline,

To get this global setting to persist through reboot you should add the export command to the /etc/environment file. Running this command at the command line will only make it available for the currently running shell session.

    Hope that helps,

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff

    Thank you for your reply.
I think I wasn’t clear on my first post.

I am not sure if my config is taken into account by my gateway (without speaking of persistent or not) because when I deny all traffic on my proxy, my gateway seems to go through anyway. So I think that the commande “export…” does not work ?!

Do you have an idea ?
    Caroline.
