Hi,
I am new to the OCG technology. I currently have an OCG-D and am attempting to install the build platform and start building a sample image. I am reading through the ‘Getting Started’ page and I know it probably seems very simple to most, but I am still a little confused on how to approach doing this using this device. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
-Thane S.
Hi Thane,
I think you should try to setup and build the image on your PC development first.

Once you have successfully built it, then the next step would be how to flash the new image onto the device.

Thanks,

Thanks for your help Bryan, however…
I got fairly far into the process but once i tried to build the image “bitbake coredcp-base-image” It came up with an error:
ERROR: Unable to parse ${OETREE}/openembedded/conf/layer.conf: file ${OETREE}/openembedded/conf/layer.conf not found in ${OETREE}
I’m not quite sure how to work past this, so once again I ask for your help, Thanks!
