    I noticed there are 4 content types available to send.
    How would you send a Docx file? Does this need to be converted to PDF in order to be sent to the web api through C#?

    So we use Syncfusion controls. They have a pretty easy process of converting Word and Excel to pdf. They also have a control for viewing pdfs which allowed me to create a fax preview as well.
