I bought MTCDT-LEU1-246A, but I canĀ“t activate the GPS. In the deviceHQ.com appears as device has unavailable location.

In the Setup, I have the default setting, but I have the following message “GPS position data not available. GGA or GLL must be selected.”

(of course, I connected GPS antenna and close to the window…)

    What I need to do?

    Thanks
    Antonio

This is currently a known problem. We don’t have a resolution for it yet.

    Hi,

Did you manage to get the position from GNSS module.

I bought MTCDT-247A-868-EU-GB, which has a built in GNSS module. I have setup the gateway with
And its running fine except for the time stamps which are dependent on the GNSS module.

When i access GPS module from the multitech conduit, it say no location information.

How could i proceed to get the position and get a fix for the GPS module.

    Hello Diego

Yes, we are making progress. This GPS feature in the AEP will be fixed in
the next firmware release. The anticipated release at this time is early March 2018.

    Antonio,

The AEP-1.4.16 has a number of fixes for the GPS/GNSS data. That version should fix your issue with GPS coordinates not showing up on Device HQ after a check-in. That is if the GNSS is able to get a lock. It may take a couple of check-ins since the initial check-in to Device HQ happens early enough that the GNSS chip generally does not have a lock yet.

    Thank You,
